There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about the early years of Alabama history. The museum covers the St. Stephens area from the pre-historic era to the current times.
Field Trips featuring Historical Vignettes about life in the Alabama Pioneer era are available throughout the school year. Call the office at 251-247-2622 to make a reservation for your school.
The Museum recently introduced character dolls to represent Chief Pushmataha, Mahala Martin, and Mrs. Temperance Crawford.
Archaeology digs are held in the more temperate months of the year. All digs are announced on the park's Facebook page. Digs are organized by George Shorter, retired professor from the University of South Alabama.
